Ανδρουλάκης: Η αγωγή Δημητριάδη αποτελεί προσπάθεια φίμωσης και εκφοβισμού των δημοσιογράφων

«Η ερευνητική δημοσιογραφία ήταν εκείνη, που αποκάλυψε κρίσιμες πτυχές του σκανδάλου των παράνομων παρακολουθήσεων, μιας από τις νοσηρότερες υποθέσεις παραβίασης των ανθρωπίνων δικαιωμάτων, υπονόμευσης του κράτους δικαίου και των δημοκρατικών θεσμών».

Αυτό αναφέρει ο πρόεδρος του ΠΑΣΟΚ-Κινήματος Αλλαγής, Νίκος Ανδρουλάκης, σχετικά με την σημερινή εκδίκαση αγωγής του Γ. Δημητριάδη εναντίον δημοσιογράφων.

Ο πρόεδρος του ΠΑΣΟΚ-ΚΙΝΑΛ προσθέτει πώς «αποτελεί ευθεία προσπάθεια φίμωσης και εκφοβισμού των δημοσιογράφων η εξοντωτική αγωγή του Γρηγόρη Δημητριάδη σε βάρος της Εφημερίδας των Συντακτών, των Reporters United και του Θανάση Κουκάκη. Την ώρα μάλιστα που ενάμιση χρόνο μετά, δεν έχουν αποδοθεί ευθύνες στους υπαίτιους αυτού του σκανδάλου και πολλάκις η Κυβέρνηση ενορχήστρωσε τη συγκάλυψη τους».

Ο κ. Ανδρουλάκης επισημαίνει ότι «η προστασία της ελευθερίας του Τύπου είναι βασικός πυλώνας της λειτουργίας της Δημοκρατίας και γι’ αυτό στεκόμαστε στο πλευρό όσων διώκονται γιατί υπηρετούν το λειτούργημά τους».
