To νέο-οθωμανικό όραμα της Τουρκίας, για δημιουργία Τουρκικών Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, εμφανίζεται σε ιστοσελίδα στο Facebook, σε λογαριασμό που φέρει το όνομα του Τούρκου Υπουργού Άμυνας Χουλουσί Ακάρ. Μάλιστα, η ιστοσελίδα παραπέμπει απευθείας στον διαδικτυακό σύνδεσμο του τουρκικού Υπουργείου Άμυνας.

Μέσα από σειρά αναρτήσεων τις τελευταίες μέρες παρουσιάζονται χάρτες με τουρκόφωνες χώρες, τις οποίες η Άγκυρα θεωρεί δικές της και στις οποίες συμπεριλαμβάνεται η Κύπρος, όπως και η Θράκη και νησιά του Αιγαίου.

«Δεν θέλουμε να πάρουμε τα εδάφη κανενός, παίρνουμε όμως ό,τι μας ανήκει». Αυτό είναι το σύνθημα που φαίνεται να προβάλλει ο Τούρκος Υπουργός Άμυνας.
